About

More than 1.25 million children and families are helped each year by Oklahoma DHS. When it comes to serving our clients, we always do what is right and promote teamwork with our collaborators. OKDHS’s safety net services and initiatives are still available as usual.

To that end, ODHS reaffirms its dedication to the health and safety of its staff and the general public and to maintaining a high standard of service for its customers at all times. The CDC and OSDH are dedicated to preventing the transmission of all diseases, notably COVID-19, and encourage regular hand washing, covering one’s nose and mouth while coughing or sneezing, keeping your distance from others, and staying home when you’re ill.

After the COVID-19 outbreak, OKDHS has been following federal agency recommendations and implementing CDC and state health department standards (OSDH). OKDHSLive recommends that customers who want assistance place orders or renew subscriptions at www.okdhslive.org or www.okdhs.org.

The CDC and OSDH websites and social media channels have been consistently updated with accurate information regarding COVID-19. The COVID-19 call centre, run by OSDH, may be reached at 877-215-8336. The customer service hotline is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Weekend hours are as follows: Saturday 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday 7pm-7pm. Clients who speak Spanish can be connected with in-house interpreters at the call centre.

Beneficiaries of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can advance their education and employment prospects through E&T initiatives. In order to encourage employability and entrepreneurship, E&T is provided at no cost to participants. When it comes to E&T services, Oklahoma County is Public Strategies’ exclusive area of operation for SNAP. In accordance with their own goals and profession, users can choose from a variety of available modules.
